About

I’m Jackie.  Born and raised as a Minnesotan and still not used to the cold. I live in the burbs of the Minneapolis/St. Paul area with my husband and our son.  As a 40-something who juggles parenting, career, family, (the usual suspects), I discovered a need for an outlet and real conversation. I wanted something more than the same positive feedback loops found on social media with like-minded people. Or with my friends/co-workers that share similar perspectives which only reinforced my own. Pair that with my own self-described “mid-life awakening” after I turned 40 and I needed a change.
